F1: COTA Tickets by Mail?

Has anyone received their tickets for the Austin F1 race yet? I haven't received my tickets nor my parking passes yet.

Last I read they were suppost to be mailed in October, and with 2 weeks left there isn't a lot of time left.

Received mine late last week (tickets and parking), I think it was last Thursday. Was sent 2 day air and required a signature. Maybe they haven't sent yours yet or they tried to deliver and you weren't home? Should have received a note if you weren't there.

They started sending them out on Monday the 22nd. You should get tracking info when they are shipped out (if your email address is correct in the system). If you haven't gotten them by next week, I'd call the CoTA office.

When I hadn't received mine by Wednesday the 24th and all of the other people in my group had already gotten them I had a minor panic attack and called my contact at CoTA.

He said if they're not there by the end of next week to call back. Sure enough, on Thursday I received tracking info and received the tickets this Monday.

Since they have to print out and ship 120,000+ I think it's taking them a while. They ship out of Arkansas, 2-day FedEx. Parking passes should come with the tix.

Hope they arrive soon!

my mate who got them for us (he lives in Austin) got them about a week ago. threadjack: does anyone know if they're doing an autograph season and pitwalk on thursday? no official schedule has been released, and we're 2 weeks away!

I have my tickets, but no parking. Mine came FedEx. Maybe check your order to see if it has a tracking number associated with the order.

my tickets came in on the 23rd (i do live in tx though) odd that you haven't received them yet. try contacting the COTA office.

I got mine. I'm going to have to do the shuttle from Austin though since parking was sold when I went to buy.

I got my tickets a few weeks ago. But, I noticed they sent me the wrong parking lot for my parking pass. I thought, oh well...just happy to have parking there.

But, I got an email from ticketmasters on 10/31 stating they sent the wrong parking passes, and new ones would be sent. I have not heard anything other than this...getting nervous considering it is time to head that way in about a week.

Anyone else have this happen?

Finding a parking spot probably won't be the issue, getting to the parking spot will be an issue.

I was there the other day and I just don't understand how they are going to deal with all the traffic. It's almost like they put no real thought into it.

Aren't the majority parking in Austin and taking buses? I was hoping there was a reason we paid $200 for parking.

Yes. Mine came with tickets.
