any CPA here...quick business question
we have a small family business. generates decent cash. our CPA is charging us 400 bucks a month and on top of that charges us 1800 to do our coorporate returns...
we do feel comfortable with him but we dont feel comfortable with paying 7gs a year for an accountant?!? what are the going rates?? |

for a small town that could be on the high side but for Philly that's pretty good.
Also depends on what he does for the $400. You getting CPA prepared financials? My wife's firm is one of the largest in FL and they would charge you $350 - $500 per month to keep your books, depending on the size of your company. She says $1800 for corporate return is fair.

I am in a similar position, that is a bit less than I pay,
