Picked up my 535i M-Sport
Just picked it up last night.
M-Sport X-Drive Alpine White with black leather and bamboo trim. The trim is very interesting. It changes color in different lighting conditions. Most of the time it looks like black wood, but in very bright sunlight or while you are taking a pic of it with a flash, it looks brown. Check out the pics:

Now watch this, with flash on: It looks like a completely different trim! This is the best solution I found to mounting the plate on the front without drilling holes or mounting it on the tow hole (i know it's blocking the intercooler a bit )

I know me too.
I was a bit depressed when I saw these instead of the ones on the 550i. I love the design of those. Oh well, I'll live. I'll enjoy the rest of the car without killing it for myself just because of the rims. lol

I'm thinking about buying that mechanics that keeps the plate under the car, or it flips it up when you need it (do you know which one I'm talking about?). However, I LOVE the way this looks, because it's very incognito. When you look at the car from an angle, you can't even tell there is a front plate on since it's deep inside the front bottom grill. I don't know, I'll figure something out. PS. Thanks!

Beautiful car! If I were to ever need to get a 4 door car, this would definitely be the one for me. The extra room in the back makes it so much more comfortable for people in the back for a small price difference. Good luck!

Ummm.... PAIN IN THE ASS to install the JB3. lol
So I'm selling it and buying a JB+ Intake install was a breeze. As far as driving goes: Much more comfier than my E93 with sports pckg. At the same time, I love the handling on the highway because the steering stiffens up (speed sensitive steering not active steering). When I take turns, if there is a bump, the car does not lose traction thanks to the softer suspension. I guess there is more body roll though since there is not sports suspension (X drive model does not come with sport suspension), but I have not been able to test it out too much because I believe in a smooth break-in. Power wise, it seems about the same as my 335 ( which actually weighted 200lbs more) when it was stock. You can hear the turbos spool A LOT less (I have the same intake on both cars) because the car is much more enclosed. It is A LOT more quieter than the 335 and I can't even hear people talking when my windows are closed and they are standing right next to the car. The doors need a lot of effort to close due to all the rubber cushioning that keeps the ride quiet. It is definitely an upgrade in luxury but I suspect it will also (definitely) be a downgrade in sportiness....however, this is exactly what I was going for. Moral of the story: I LOVE IT. PS. I love the logic 7 even more.

Oh a few more comparisons:
The seats are a lot more comfortable than the 335 especially since they have more options such as the top back portion moving alone without the rest of the lower back moving. A few things I'll miss from the 335 are the LED lights under the door handles which come with the premium pkg for the 535 i think ( I didn't get the premium pkg because it was only the dimming mirrors and garage door opener and apparently the LED's, for over $1,200. ). Also, there are no interior ambience lights around the doors that my 335 had.
