The sky is interesting....got some funny stuff goin on there. Other than that, nice. I'd try selecting the sky, increasing the contrast, and playing with selective color. reduce the amount of white and increase the intensity of the blue.

Tweak it from there.

It's a bit much in the second one. i don't know if the vignetting is intentional, but it really detracts from the picture.

Why not take the first one and crop out the house in back of the car and clone out the tree growing out of the roof? This will bring attention to the reflection in the side of the car and get rid of some distractions.

thanks! it was a cool shot to start with

1) if you dont already have it, get adobe lightroom (not just photoshop)..its a more user friendly photo centric program

2) the adjustments I made in lightroom are listed above, pretty much best way to learn is to toy with each bar and see what it does. The ones I adjusted are only a few options, but you can look @ the original picture and decide first what you want to change.

for ex:

your orig photo.
-sky is really blue and good, needs a little more contrast/saturation to really bring it out
-image is a little cold (color temp wise)..so I adjusted the white balance to be higher (warmer) and added just a smidge of red tint (+1 on the slider)
-car, a little dark, so I adjusted the shadows to be lighter and the darks to be lighter on the curve
-driveway is washed out, so I adjusted the lights and the highlights on the curve down (since the driveway is one of the closest items in the picture to pure white), and that brought out the texture in the driveway a smidge
-I am a fan of high contrast as well, so I added a bit of contrast to the whole image w/the slider bar, and with the curve being a little more aggressive/contrasty (one of the options is, "strong contrast")
-after adjusting the darks on the car, the car was losing some of its dark black color, so I adjusted the black slider on the exposure section to add some deeper blacks, but in the process started losing some definition in the shine, so I upped the fill light to really bring out the headlights and the shine on the car
-at the end I just adjusted the lens correction to negative to add a smidge of vignetting, I feel it adds a little focus to the picture if done lightly

hopefully that helps!

Adjustments are good. You can go for it.
