What other car forums do you read?
As an ex-Mustang owner, I still occasionally read the S550 (2015+) forums. The GT350 sub-forum has a lot of good info, and the main Mustang forums have a lot of wild stories, good and bad.
The Camaro forums are about what you'd expect. Lots of paint issues with the 2016 model. The Mini forums show how loyal the owners are to the brand. Plenty of folks who have owned their cars for a decade or so consider the reliability to be good - even though in some cases they have replaced the radiator twice, water pump ($700), the bottom of the doors have rusted out, etc. It's all relative I guess. But maybe most interesting are the Focus RS forums. I starting lurking there recently because I am sort of interested in an RS. After reading a bunch of threads, I think maybe I'll hold off awhile until some of the early kinks are worked out. One thing these other forums have shown me is that the 2 Series is incredibly reliable compared to these other brands. The 2 Addicts forum is almost boring in comparison.

I also read the Mustang6g and Camaro6 forums, as I have been considering both cars in the future. Lots of people that are blindly devoted to each car, but the more interesting posters are the ones that have moved to Camaros/Mustangs from a European brand.
The 6speedonline forums are great because there is a wide variety of high-end brands. Sometimes I go to NASIOC (former WRX owner), but mostly stay in the Non-Subaru News & Rumors subforum. |

If you own/rent a home with a garage, under NO circumstances visit this site: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/
....unless you willingly wish to give months of your life away to the internet.

I used to look at Audi, Mercedes, and Subaru forums when I owned them. Then e46fanatics, e90fanatics, and now this one.

I still visit "The Car Lounge" and sub-forums on VWVortex even though I have not owned a VW in years.
The other car forums I stopped visiting soon after I no longer owned the vehicle (Pontiac GTO, Buick Regal, Chrysler 300, Chevy Colorado, etc). I sometimes visit the Silverado forum but might sell it. I used to visit various motorcycle forums. Since I sold my last two bikes (both Aprilia), I occasionally still check into AF1's Aprilia forum. There are a few boating forums I frequent as well but I may sell our current boat (Cobalt 246 w/454 Mag MPI) and get out of boating for awhile.

ClubLexus Car Chat forum b/c my other car is a Lexus, but I don't frequent it often. Let's just say that Lexus isn't a brand that enthusiasts gravitate to and thus, their forums aren't super busy. I've found that few, if any, automotive forums are as active as those on Bimmerpost.

I just saw a garage post on Rennlist and feel horrible about my garage. I could only imagine how crazy some of the garages are for people who just love garages. |
