snow tires or not, when you lock the brakes up this is the end result on ice on the hill. They would have been better to let the tires roll at least you have a chance of driving the car where you want verse letting it slide.

When I drive in the snow it avoid the brakes at all cost and just let the car slow on it own as soon as you hit the brakes and it starts sliding it is all done.

I used to have to transmit the daily claims file for Mass General Hospital to Medicare and BCBS over 14400 baud modems. I can immitate that one pretty convincingly, as it would drop the connection a few dozen times a day.
