I think giving people options like working from home is what will be the demise of cities. Many are realizing now that maybe being a slave to your office job so you can have a tiny apartment in a building you can't leave during a lockdown isn't so great. The pandemic is surely a factor, but crime, corruption, and congestion have always existed.

The flipside of that is too much working from home will erode the teamwork productivity at the workplace IMO. People being isolated from one another (see: social media) and not physically together isn't always the best thing. Of course it may depend on the type of work you're in, but strangely (or not) I associate this opinion with what I see happening with today's younger generation in general. We're raising a bunch of pvssies that can't handle real life. Their parents have pampered them and they are unable to cope with reality aka the real world.

I've got BP's spam on me!

83 spam emails in my personal email account this morning. I never get spam. As I was deleting emails, more kept flooding in. What the hell is going on? I only use this account for personal stuff and don't give out or register that email address anywhere online.

Annoying though, I know. Even though I don't really give out a personal one I've still got at least 20 spam per day so those settings are to only deliver mail to my inbox that matches anyone from my address book and all else goes to junk that I scan quickly.

These days I don't feel as if I upset anyone enough to seek vengeance...outside of the caged pillow fortress, that used to be the BP Thunder Dome. I don't think that I know anyone that even knows what an email bomb is, let alone where to locate and deploy.

I will say the sender was quite creative in their originating domain. A bunch of alpha-numeric text that would vary by one digit in order to avoid from being blocked. Crafty.

I'm willing to bet it has to do with flawed security or lack thereof with some of the people or organizations you've communicated with using that particular e-mail address. That's the only thing I can think of.

Also, how many times have you been informed by some organization that your personal information may have been compromised due to some hack or aforementioned security flaw? I've received a few of those and it's concerning.
