Your comments are focused on the wrong person... And yes I spent $140 (the $162 include some other goodies) on a case.

Shall we dig into the ridiculous amount of money spent by members of this forum on purely cosmetics mods? How about we go to the watch sub-forum see the ridiculous sums spent on a flashy watch when a simple Timex will do the job? Why do folks "waste" money on these? They like the look better. I like the look of the metal cases better than the cheap plastic ones you find at the stores (and what you likely got for free with your purchase)...

At the end of the day the actual dollar figure is a drop in the bucket and meaningless (unless your a pilot apparently!

). Is it frivolous? Absolutely! But so is getting carbon fibers bits for the interior or exterior of you car, buying painted reflectors or after-market exhausts. And I am guilty as charged on all those counts as well.

Just great demand at the moment. Dealers that have them on the lot to sell are asking WAY over MSRP. Vehicles with a MSRP of $85k are being listed for $105 - $115.

Even their lease rates are jacked up because of the demand. You can get the same priced 2014 X5 50i leased with the same terms for about $400 less per month than the RR S right now. They have really struck gold with this newest version of the RR sport and many people who were on the fence have made their move.

. I spent $405 on my case for my iPad that I no longer have. Just have a Burberry case sitting in my closet. Doesnt bother me one bit.
