GAS just behind NOR and PIA keeps confusing me thinking in that there are 3 McLaren cars racing....

Watching it live, it looked like Carlos and Max collided coming out of turn 1.

On another note, Lando is the anti-Alonso of first laps. Holy crap, this guy is terrible at race starts

I still think it's very interesting how Ferrari can be so fast here. I mean, LEC won monaco because he's an extremely good qualifier, and he won Monza as a very high speed track, but this track is completely different to Monza, lots of low speed corners here.

He was running away from Piastri in the first stint at Azerbaijan as well. Got my fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again.

If the Ferrari is so good with the tyres, Ferrari has to make sure to undercut Max.

Max will take P1 or P2 to Ferrari as long as Lando is eating popcorn and watching with the spectators..

Fred did hint that no one should be discounting Ferrari here - so whatever changes they made to both Ferrari’s seem to be working. LEC just cruising and building a gap to VER which I love to see.

Quite surprised with the tire life, I thought they’d go a lot faster with all of these fast corners. I thought it would be a 2 stopper with the mediums going in the mid teens.
