RIP David Crosby
Surely one of the great voices of all time. So many incredible songs.
RIP and thanks for your music.

Oh man, this hits hard. Was a big fan, especially of Crosby, Stills & Nash.
RIP David. |

A great loss. I have great memories of seeing David Crosby live over the years when he was with the Byrds at Whiskey a go go and then of course with CSN and CSNY.
Great voice, guitarist, and outspoken soul who never once pulled a punch. |

Fortunate to have seen CSNY at the Berkeley Greek Theater in the early 70's, and CSN here in Humboldt ~2010. Their two sets at Woodstock on the closing day is legend. One album if I was to have on a deserted island, would be Crosby's first solo LP, If I Could Only Remember My Name, feat. Graham Nash, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, members of Jefferson Airplane, Santana & The Grateful Dead.
It wasn't surprising to occasionally see David Crosby strolling on State Street, Stearns Wharf or East Beach in Santa Barbara. The sequel to his autobiography, "Since Then: How I Survived Everything and Lived to Tell About It", is an entertaining read. RIP, to one of the greatest.

I fired up "If Only I Could Remember My Name" on my iPod 160GB Classic in the 128's H/K sound-system to and from work today. One of the few albums I own on LP, CD, and a re-mastered anniversary edition CD, too. Some great bass-players, among other musicians, helping out here. One of my all-time favorites.
