Lewis Hamilton has equaled Michael Schumacher's 91 career F1 wins.

As a tribute to such greatness, Michael's son Mick Schumacher presented Lewis with one of Michael's race helmets.

The closest to this record are Vettel with 53, Prost with 51 and Senna with 41.

It appears triple digit F1 race wins is in sight for Lewis.

Dominant F1 teams happen.

Dominant F1 drivers happen.

As in life, results don't lie.

The points you made are completely FACTUAL vs the palaver so many here and in other forums have sprouted.

Some people actually use the word luck to describe Hamilton's dominance but as the old saying goes: "The harder I work, the luckier I get." Preparation and Opportunity, the core point being Preparation are the hallmarks of HAMs career since he was a young boy. The work his dad performed and the discipline he instilled in Lewis have been manifesting themselves over his entire career. This result is the fruit of preparation, not luck. Saying it's luck is an insult to every person who has achieved anything of significance in any walk of life.

Thank you for the kind words; your eloquent narrative regarding luck vs achievement is spot on; HAM enjoys success because he has laid down 13 years in F1 total commitment and perhaps another 12-15 yrs from karting to F2; he has achieved F1 WDC’s at both teams he has driven for.

I often wonder how many people who decry his talent have even sat in a race car, let alone driven one in anger? Further...how many times have they been in an open wheel car?!?!!

I met a couple on holiday who worked with Lewis when he was at McLaren and they commented on what a nice bloke he was to work with and that he who wore his heart on his sleeve.
I'm pretty confident that history will describe him as an incredible talent and easily the best of his generation.
