Anybody have experience with camcorders?
Finally getting off my ass and buying a camcorder for the "kid" ... now that's he's 2-1/2. But we're taking him to disneyland for the first time next week and I have to get a corder quick quick.
Leaning heavily toward the Canon HV-10, even though the reviews pan it for low-light. Just wondering if any of you here also have camcorders in addition to your still cams. |

Canon HV-10 is a great DVHD cam.
Small, sexy and good video quality. Yes, all these smaller cams have terrible low light abilities, due to the small size of the lens, which limits it's max apeture. If you're not shooting in dark rooms, it's a great 1080i cam. I just used it, to be cut into a Feature film we're shooting on Panavision's Gensis 4:4:4 camera. kj |

Revisiting old thread. Ended up with HV20. But can't seem to get it to import into iMovie worth a damn ... goes for 30sec to 1min and then looses camera connection.
Can anybody recommend a "home", as in real easy, video editting app for either windows or mac? |
