Need help with m62tu timing!

I am changing timing chain guides and other components in my 2002 540. I was trying to install flywheel pin to lock the crank at tdc and had a zip tie holding tension on the guide. The zip tie failed and lost tension causing the crank to slip an unknown amount of teeth. I tried correcting the error but only made things worse. I can’t get it back right I have really got it out of time. I feel the valves stopping the crank from turning both ways after a little turning. What should I do!?!? Remove cams and set crank at tdc and then re install cams at tdc also with my locking tools? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I know I messed up good, just wanna remedy without pulling heads.
