Remove the card entirely/ check those plastic clips and replace if broken. And you have a chance to insert some foam around each clip to silent the noise as well while you're there. Very easy job.

If the clips are broken I advise to buy OEM ones. They are way too expensive if you need them in bulk (like 2 bucks), but I tried all of the cheap ones from Amazon/eBay/Al. They just are not the same, always break basically immediately...

Yes, I have had that problem on two BMWs -- a 2012 e92 335is and a 2009 e91. I bought a bag of OEM clips and simply replaced them. ECS sells them for cheap.
Same for the clips that hold the rockers. My daughter has my last e90, and the clips on the rockers have rotted. Another cheap repair. |
