Aren't there investors who Jerry has to make whole and who have an interest of winning aside from just making money? It's hard to believe that he not at least heard from his inside people the idea of hiring a GM to build a team. He either has and doesn't care or only surrounds himself with people that only listen to him.

It seems like the Eagles are rounding into form. Hopefully the youth continues to impress and the team buys into the OC/DC schemes (ie Jalen can learn to play under center).

RE: Washington.... it kind of sucks when a hated rival lands a young QB who looks to be immensely skilled while also being really, really likable.

@lakefront….Yeah, Ol Jerry has been in denial for quite some time. And as you stated, he won’t ever admit that he’s wrong. It’s hard being a Cowboys fan, and even harder sitting back watching the Puppet Master and his decision making!

I’m sure several inside people have made that suggestion JMcLellan , but Jerry is going to do what Jerry wants to do. Remember, he bought the Cowboys for $150 million back in 1989, and now the organization is worth around $10 billion. Jerry is definitely a business man and he knew what he was getting into back in 89. He turned the Cowboys into the wealthiest professional sports organization according to Forbes. This in turn probably makes him think he has all the answers when it comes to personnel moves on the football field.

WTF was that 2-point attempt by the Giants last night??? It made zero sense when they were down by 8, and could have made it 7.

For the final score, that non-PAT cost me $110 too

Come on Texans....how do you let the Jets win after they fumbled that touchdown away. What a boneheaded play by the Jets receiver.

It was irritating seeing the Rodgers-Adams combo work. Vegas had the Jets favored by two points which I thought made no sense. Are the Texans not actually that good?

As a Bills fan, I don't normally root for the Jets...except when a Jets win will advance the Bills' playoff standings like beating the Texans did last night. You gotta respect Garrett Wilson's "Holy Shin!" TD grab, no matter which team you're rooting for.....

The thing I've seen with the Texans this year is Stroud running for his life on any passing play. They just can't seem to pass block for him this year. And that's with Mixon running really well. Now with their top two receivers out, Stroud needs some new health insurance.

Houston has serious o line issues. The Jets are going no where, I’m sure Belicheck is thrilled with that. I would not be surprised with a Chief Lions Super Bowl although the ravens and Packers have a good shot. Too many injuries and penalties in the NFL these days the product isn’t as good as it used to be.
