The Project Farm test does not include longevity test especially if you use the wipers. My experience with Rain-X is that it does not last. Glaco Ultra lasts much longer for me.

There's two kinds of Glaco windshield coating - normal (orange) and Ultra (black). Get Glaco Ultra.

I would recommend Armour Detail Supply glass coating, Infinity Wax Diamond Vision glass sealant (insane sheeting but low durability), Jade Amethyst Glass Coating, or the new C6 glass coating. I have only tried the first two of this list, but I am confident that these 4 are some of the top formulations out there.

If you want durability and don't mind a coating with higher sliding angle, then the DPT Diamond Glass is very easy to use and SUPER durable. It's still working on my Mazda after 18 months with wiper usage although it has weakened some. The catch is that the droplets don't run off until 40+ mph speeds.

I used the Cerakote windshield coating, it cost $10 for a kit with enough for the front and rear windshield. It is easy to apply and seems to work well. Be aware, however, that if you use RainX 2 in 1 glass cleaner over it you will have streaking issues which can be corrected by wiping it with a 50:50 isopropyl alcohol mix (or vodka)

This essentially removes the Rain-X.

Right. RainX doesn't really stick to the ceramic windshield coating anyways so it makes a mess. I ran out of normal glass cleaner so I used the Rain-X 2 in 1 in a pinch and learned that it isn't ideal.

100% agree. I applied it in May and it's still going strong. No wiper chatter, easy to clean during maintenance washes. Great stuff!

I keep a clean windscreen by using glass cleaner after washing my car. I would rather have a clean screen and let the wipers do the best job possible than risk contamination, smearing and poor visibility, particularly at nighttime with oncoming traffic.

Greetings,

Yesterday after receiving 303 Graphene Nano for my wheels, I decided to apply it to my windshield (it's safe for a variety of surfaces). Easy to apply and easy to remove. Nothing to report, since it was applied yesterday, but remain hopeful. Oh, in Southern California, we get very little rain.

When riding my K1600B, I use RainX for plastic for both my windscreen and helmet visor...works fairly well.

So I have the orange one. Beads beautifully, no hazing.
Works for about a week or so without issues, then the wiper starts skipping. It is just so annoying. I thought it was that I did not clean the screen properly prior to application. But the exact same thing happened another time, so now I am running with just a squeky clean windshield.
I did try some cleaner/repellant mixes, but all of them have severe hazing when the wiper wipes.

Any thoughts, recommendations from anyone? Thank you
