Since OT, I have this arugula coming up in my garden. I go out and rip off a few pieces and just pop them in my mouth. They are so bitter/astringent, I just know it's good for me. IF I pick then take in the house and wash, or just wait until dinner, they die and don't have that BITE any more.

You're right! Chard adds just the right touch of sweetness.
When I get the urge for chlorophyll I graze in the back yard. Up here in the PNW our lawns stay green pretty much year round so for that I am deeply grateful.
