A Compelling storyline is always captivating and makes me want to find out what happens next and complete a game, but awkward controls kinda ruin the experience.
I remember a Resident Evil game on the original PS that I was really liking the suspense and story, but the the control scheme made me leave that one undone, lol.
One of the few projects I started but not completed.

Heavy Rain is another one. I really liked the story, but the damn controls had me walking into walls all the time.
