Everyone seems to love the Alfas BUT everyone seems to have trouble with them for reliablity. CU ranks Alfas in its worst reliability category and that is based on owner responses.
Even if they gave Alfas as loaners, the hassle of going repeatedly to the dealership will get old. And, alas, they don't give Alfas. When I take my BMW in for service, I always get a BMW loaner and can usually pick the car type so I can use the loaner experience to try out different cars.
I am reminded about the old saw on Jags. If you own one, you must own two...one to drive and for the shop.
