I have a 2018 JL Unlimited and it is awesome. Everyone in this thread saying don't get a Wrangler as a daily has never driven the JL. It is a perfectly fine daily driver and miles ahead of older generations in terms of quality and creature comforts. I wasn't big on the turbo 4, so I got the regular V6 and it has enough power for an SUV, more power than most other SUVs in its class/price point which are mostly turbo 4's. The soft top also goes up and down in 30 seconds on the new models. The power soft top is sweet but costs $4k. The hard top is probably better than the soft top if it's a only vehicle, but you can also get the dual top option.
