I used to coach Little League Baseball and one season we won 2 of about 15 games. We worked harder and the next season we won almost all of them.

I still remember that perfect year in AYSO. My son was probably 12.
0-10, still made it to playoffs (yeah, everyone did) and the kids were SO upset when they didn't get to come back for another game. We ALMOST got that second game because another team barely made their volunteer hours.
They didn't win any games, but there were so many of them who now knew what a pass was, how to anticipate where the ball was coming or needed to go, heck could even perform an offside trap. Best season I ever had as a coach. |
Don't need a soccer lesson. I'm all soccered out. My kid was in soccer too. Everybody's kid was.
