One thing is for sure , Shaila-Ann Rao did a great job for Mercedes !

Interesting fact was today in sector 2 ...
The Mercedes was one (1)! sec. faster in sector 2 than the Red Bulls !
1 sec. is just mind boggling !!!

Remember Imola , where HAM was lapped by MAX => https://www.businessinsider.in/sport...w/91076564.cms
Seeing the Mercedes pace today in the sprint , in normal circumstances It's 1&2 for Mercedes in the race ...

Also look how the gov body suddenly came in and punished Alonso when stewards would have let it go as a racing incident.
Looking the bigger picture overall to get answers have Merc been naughtily working on their cars during the two week break keeping in mind what was there 3 races ago and it's known to be a 'Merc track' (as Wolff was saying before) now as demonstrated by HAM last year if it is a one off for them.
With just 10% of rain forecast at the mo and Ferrari starting 8-9 I do agree it's looking bleak and the full race distance isn't looking good for the bulls but the weather can change here whatever the prognosis.
