it's not that....it's simply a supply demand curve. Many people such as myself grew up wanting an E30 M3. Now that we have money we go after them....I chose to go after a 1M instead though. People spend money on what they want.....it's not engineered by anyone, really.

Collector cars have existed since the automotive industry matured at 20 years. This isn't a new revelation or some sort of society conspiracy theory; it's basic supply and demand.

The E30 is a bonafide collector car already. There are far too many of them produced to ever be uber amounts of money----but they will continue to appreciate surely.
