It would. This is why I want refueling brought back with sturdy tires. Let the tires run out when they run out but this BS of temperature ranges to switch the tires on and that foolishness is too much. The ambient temperature should interfere with engine power but not tires. It's too much BS and unless you're a real tech-head like me, who cares?!?!! This is why F1 has lost audience share compared to the late 90's and early 2000's. And the sound. Hearing a V8 or V10 at full chat made the hair on the back of your neck stand up and the shifts are like rifle shots. It. Was. Epic.
Now the cars are faster but not as romantic. It's a shame because it could have been both.
