I bought it solely to test out Chrome OS and my thoughts are as follows;
Chrome OS is great for general web browsing, you can use google docs to compose letters, excel sheets
It does recognise usb drives and so forth (but you need a cloud enabled printer, such as HP)
The HD screen is really good, almost 'retina' like.
However, it does lack a few things (such as itunes syncing)
but would be a great second computer for kids to do their homework, or general browsing/netflix
