Ferrari in the Ross Brawn / Michael Schumacher era was a true force his management and Michaels skill.

But since then they have struggled, having either a fast and fragile car / engine or various strategy or driver issues that have meant they haven't got there. Considering they have more money than ANY other team until the recent cost cap that's a shame for the team and the sport but the reality is, Renault, Red Bull and Mercedes have beaten them hands down in the hybrid era and even before then.

They have lurched from leader to leader even a football team struggles to achieve at times and that lack of stability hurts them, a new person at the top will still mean challenged for a year why they move to their model and way of doing things, going to be a tricky period for them.
