I put in an "order" for the first ones they're selling at MSRP, which probably still means I won't see one for 9 or 12 months after they start getting them.

Your statement may be true for your area, but not everywhere. I'm getting the 2nd car at my dealer and I'm paying MSRP. (I'm in the Northeast)
