I owned an s for a few years. Only issue of note was the transfer case blowing, but thankfully was under warranty.
- the 14 way seats are a must (at least. I had the 18s and loved them)
- as others have mentioned, find a good indy, or diy your service.
- it's truly a fantastic all in one car. It's very much a real porsche, there is handling magic baked in.
- one of the nicest parts, in hindsight - the car was very easy to push, was forgiving, and never felt like too much" car, the way a 500hp M can. Mine had a piggy and an exhaust, and wasn't slow, but it was friendly. I know the limits of my m4 are waaaaaaay higher than my skill. I felt like I could drive, enjoyably, much closer to the limit in that car.
