In addition, I'd love to see their routing topology. Why their routers didn't automatically re-route and "self heal" from these outages is beyond me. That's the function of running BGP. I understand if these where momentary blips where there isn't enough time for the routers to perform a convergence in the route tables. But these outages per what I was seeing from the outage emails I got from my smart thermostat were an hour to two hours in length.
This is just an epic fail on all counts.
