At some point, the modern technology is "better" in regards to safety, reliability, and practicality. Otherwise, we'd all be driving these.

While I WILL stare at a Porsche 356 in a museum ALL DAY. You wouldn't catch me DEAD driving one. Why? Because all of the Meth Heads driving the other way. There's always some ass**** having a bad day, messing with the kids in the back seat that are fighting, and all it takes is a split second...and....

You're dead. The newer cars are better at making you safer from this. There isn't a guarantee, but I've been patching people up from car accidents for over 30 years now. Stuff that people came in DOA on me 30 years ago now they walk away from without a scratch. The people we have to patch up now would have had closed casket funerals in the past with multiple parts either in the casket or they couldn't find them.

Nostalgia is cool....until....
