The top of the Chrysler would be about all I'd get with my 500mm, but it'd be nicely detailed, I assure you.

I have done some scenics with the 500mm and the compressed distances yields some very interesting perspectives. It's great when there's something like a ship a mile away and a mountain 50-miles away. It pulls them together. There has to be almost no haze for it to work.
