Do agree CarPlay & Android Auto should be an option you can purchase if you want it. I expect they'll be available before too long.

Ditto, they are pointless technologies in comparison as to what is coming in.

However, cars 'talking' to each other, sensing cars in vicinity braking, cars slowing or in heavy traffic, traffic lights.

BMW are working on eye tracking and hand gesture - links in to the .50 cal machine guns.
