True. I forgot about that rule. I think its a dumb one, but that's irrelevant.

I agree that Ferrari has messed up almost every race, so far, this year. We could go round and round on who was more at fault in this one, team or driver. True LeClerc crashed in qualifying. But, I just can't get over the thought in my head that, had they pitted him earlier (even putting on soft tires), he would have stood a much better chance. The team waited so long that they put him back on track 20 sec behind VET with only 10-11 laps to go. There's no way he was going to make that back up.

Pit him a few laps earlier, put him out in the thick of it, and everyone is on worn out tires at the end. Let the drivers drive.
