Hah, I never could get into the whole wiz thing. (that's why I avoid the tourist Geno's and Pat's thing) Just good ole white american. But yellow american will do in a pinch.
To me Dalessandro's is the best, but Tony Lukes is pretty good too (but liked them more years ago). Jim's is a tasty steak too. I used to have them every day when I worked at the Reading Terminal Market.
It took me a long time to work that off....and I still haven't.
Orrrr the trucks on 33rd street while I was at Drexel. The ones right by the main building (before it was closed to traffic) were excellent as well.
Never discount a good truck steak.
