Both 2.9 and 3.0 V6 variants seem reliable based on reading the Cayenne forum at rennlist. I am not a fan of 90 degree V6s and hot vee turbos but VW seems to have executed this engine fairly well.
The PDK transmission gives me pause but owners seem to be OK with it.
Body and chassis seem solid. Macan is on my radar to replace the X3 in a couple of years.
Next gen Macan is allegedly electric-only. FYI.
