I don't know if I should blow minds but all modern cars from the last decade already have this. Maybe not all cars but most... https://rimkus.com/media/pdfs/Event-...us-1.11.21.pdf.. Link is to a pdf from some insurance consulting site of cars equipped with the event data recorders, the list is likely out dated by now.
