I'll put it to you this way....

Last time on track I saw one of these, a 2004 Audi S4 laid a pretty equal driver completely out at VIR. Like it was sitting still. This is VIR, which has three nearly half mile straights. Both drivers were instructors. Pretty sure the CTR driver was disappointed.

The KBB value on the S4 is $6,500. And he had a cage, and I'm sure a tune, and Nitto NT01's. I didn't see the CTR.

Just sayin', if speed/dollar is the issue, the CTR is great, but still murdered by competitive cars in the class. Again, don't get me wrong. Somebody wants to hand me one, I'm in.
