Shoot, now you're going to force me to find the comparison test to show you the value of good glass in front of your glass. I'll be back after I dig them up again. I'm using Hoya Pro-something.

BTW, some people view a UV filter only as protection of the lens. That's a useful view, BUT, if you take many photos outside of the "golden hours", like anytime from 11a.m. to 3p.m., a high quality UV filter will enhance your images giantly.
