After tiring of the spring/fall tire changeovers with little snow & ice in my area, I put a set of all-season Toyo Proxes 4s on my DD E46 a few months ago. So far they are giving a very good ride, good handling, no noise and and a slightly heavier steering feel compared to the Conti SportContact 2s they replaced. The price for four 225/45/17 tires was below $600 including mounting, balancing, valve stems & 6% state tax.
