The 308 has a $700 JP low mass BCG, both are all Aero HG, Lower, Upper. I am very interested to know the cost of a 7lb build, CF barrel, etc I would guess $3k+.

I would guess around 2-3k too all said and done, also depends how light you want to go and aesthetics . A Faxon pencil barrel, Faxon BCG, and carbon fiber hand guard should take a fair amount of weight off. Here is a list a guy made, not horrible prices:
