Neither at this time. Don't pre-order and wait it out until the games you want to play come out. Let both companies work for your money and loyalty.

I waited a year after launch before buying a PS4. The glacier white Destiny bundle made me weak in the knees so I caved. Destiny isn't for me, and it wasn't until almost a full year after I bought it that I actually had something worth playing on it (in my opinion anyways). I had my PC until then.

So I bought a PS4 a year in and didn't actually play it until 2 years after launch. It is still my favorite console I've ever owned, but I'm going to wait it out again this time around.

Seems like Xbox is focused on horsepower, and PS5 on optimization. Let the games you want to play get released first and then make your decision so you don't get burned. They're not going anywhere.
