No, I've never driven the ZF8. To be honest, up until this thread discussion, I never even knew it existed. But, I've learned the pro and cons of the two is an interesting subject. And, like so many other things about these cars, there are passionate advocates for each. For my type of driving, I think I'd be satisfied with either.
Although this DCT Vs. ZF8 thread was done in 2013, the technical expertise of the participants in the discussion makes it a fascinating read. If you're interested in the details of how the DCT works, make sure you look at post 54. The poster claimed the video answers all questions.
