I was going with a BGE until I visited shops that carry them both. Although no one said anything negative about BGE, the Kamado Joe was touted as being more innovative than the BGE and "if they could do it again", BGE owners said they'd get the KJ.
Reviews online seemed to come to the same conclusion.
