As someone who loves to game, I was naturally attracted to the benefits of a PC over a console system. I started off with i7-820x paired with a 1080ti with a Micro ATX EVGA mobo. Since then, I have been through many iterations of said build. From the 1080ti to a 3080 and finally a 3090ti today.
Once my family had seen my build they wanted me to build desktop work stations for them. I built my mother and my brother their computers based on what I know they would be using them for. My mother is a real estate agent and my brother is a film director. Knowing this, I selected the parts below. I knew my mom has 1000 chrome tabs open at one time so opted for the 32gigs of DDR4
.
Lets start with my personal build:
Specs:
i7-12700k (5.0P/3.9E)
3090ti (2.1ghz 12000mhz .995v)
32gb DDR5 (6000mhz cl32)
ASUS ROG Strix Z690-G mobo
EVGA 1000w power supply
Mom build:
Specs:
i5-600k
3060ti
32gb DDR4 3600mhz
MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK
Corsair 750w power supply
Brother Build:
Specs:
i9-12900k
3090
64gb DDR5 5600mhz
MSI MEG Z690 ACE E-ATX
I only have videos of final product but heres a pic during building:
Here is a picture of the 12th generation core line up i5/i7/i9)
We all love our PCs and I ended up building much higher quality PCs than the pre-build's they wanted but for a cheaper price. I've spent a ton of time on researching PCs and understanding them, so if anyone has build questions let me know!
