Why the hell are you stuck with that ugly shadowline trim if you want the sport pack?

You know what, in the economic environment today, cars have to deliver value because of all the good competition that did not exist 5 years ago....and the 1 series just isn't doing it. I'm coming up on 38K for a 128i, and that's without the premium package or automatic transmission, or else it would be 43K...and still no Brembo brakes. I'm going to have to say no to this one. The options restrictions are ridiculious as well, I'm not gonna pay $3600 for a premium package just because I want ambient lighting.

I can find much better value in a Altima Coupe, Accord coupe, R32, Dodge Challenger, and other cars...dare I say an IS350. There's just too many viable alternatives to have to pay 40ish for a decently equipped 128i.

What's a convertible gonna cost?
I'm gonna have a lot more fun in a Dodge Challenger, and its roomy enough to travel in, or put adults in the back.
