They may do this, although I have not experienced that but you can request discovery in any traffic case and ask for the radar/laser gun log and also the complete calibration log. They are required to calibrate them before each shift. NJSP probably does but many local cops may skip sometimes. Without this, no radar/laser is admissible in court. I've gotten out of a few tickets this way. If they pace you then you are basically screwed. |
