That is your opinion as I have owned a lot of 90's Japanese cars from Civic Si, del sol VTEC, MR2 Turbo, several DSM's, as well as older EVO, STI and I prefer modern BMW's over every single one. What you call "soul" with older Japanese cars I consider vibrations and rattles.
