Wow do I feel like an idiot! I almost always leave my phone on silent and never had any issues on other apps with this. Thanks for your help in solving my stupid problem! |
No problem. It is a configurable thing for apps, so some apps can still produce sound if the phone is set to silent. But we figure we will respect the sound setting the person wants.
Ps. Don't feel stupid. I had the same problem when I was first making the app. I would get sound in my simulator but not on my phone. Kept changing code for about an hour until I realized my phone was on silent. Doh.
