Anytime BMW introduces a vehicle that revolutionary, not evolutionary, there are those long-time BMW fans that will resist. I'm one of those people. Personally, I don't care for the XM looks inside or out.

I got to drive one last year in Napa at the BMW Electrified event. It is very quick, as expected, but other than that initial blast off, the XM was not that special, certainly not $160K worth of special. Personally, I'd take the X5 over the XM any day.

Now, do I think it will sell and be successful? Hell yes. There is a market for the XM. It will sell well, but not in X5 numbers. It doesn't have to at that price point. Bottom line: BMW is really good at selling cars and they get it right most of the time.
