Clever marketing meant for dummies.
Assume 3 year / 40,000 mile lease of a car getting 25mpg.
Assume a $4.00 average price / gallon
Savings = $1600 over 3 years..... I rather beat the crap out of a salesman and get $3000-$5000 immediately.
Even at an average of $5 / gallon for gas, the savings is only $3200 over 3 years.
Gas price is SUCH an emotional crutch for the weak minds.
